Anwar Hisham Ibrahim, a science teacher at Al-Mutanabbi Elementary School for Boys, encouraged her second-grade students to recycle used materials and transform them into practical products based on their own ideas.

This initiative is part of the “Friends of the Environment” program, which aims to integrate the school curriculum with the principles of green education.

Ibrahim shared that the initiative successfully instilled environmental awareness among the students, motivating them to engage in projects and research tasks focused on preserving and sustaining the environment.

The students competed to create diverse and aesthetically appealing works, which were displayed in classrooms and throughout school facilities, including the Green Education Corner. Exceptional students were also recognized and honored for their efforts.
