Electricity and Water Affairs Ministry’s Sustainable Energy Centre signed a memorandum of understanding with Smart Human Resources Management Company to promote the concept of sustainable energy in the higher education and vocational training sector.

The deal was signed by Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza and Managing Partner of Smart Human Resources Management Company Sabah Almoayyed. The agreement includes a capacity building programme for Bahraini university students and professionals, including retirees, to improve their skills, innovate and develop their career.

The programme is designed to train more than 120 Bahrainis every year. Almoayyed said the two sides will work to encourage and develop renewable energy projects as well as organise training programmes for university students in engineering, science and business management. It will also create a network for students to communicate with regional and international experts in sustainable energy
