Premium Service Centre inaugurated

In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to adopt initiatives and plans that enhance government services, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, inaugurated the Premium Service Centre at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs (NPRA) headquarters in Manama.

The opening was attended by Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for NPRA. The event showcased historical documents reflecting the advancement of the Bahraini passport, culminating in the issuance of the modern electronic passport. The e-passport incorporates advanced design features and state-of-the-art security measures and has won multiple international awards.
