Oman To Offer Visa-Free Entry For Filipinos From 2026

Starting in 2026, the Sultanate of Oman will implement a visa-free travel policy for Filipino citizens, making it easier for them to explore the country's tourist attractions. Omani officials recently announced this significant development during Oman’s National Day celebrations in Makati City, Philippines. Under this new policy, Filipino citizens will be allowed to visit Oman without a visa for stays of up to 14 days.

This initiative represents a milestone in the growing relationship between the two nations and is expected to greatly enhance tourism for both countries. To support this, there will be an increase in flight availability, further improving accessibility for travelers. Filipino visitors will now have the chance to experience Oman’s diverse landscapes and rich cultural offerings without the hassle of obtaining a visa.

Oman’s Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Nasser Said Abdullah Al Manwari, informed reporters, “This is the first country in the Middle East that will waive the visa requirement for the Filipino people. So you can enjoy Oman anytime without a visa. Starting next year, it will be for about two weeks without a visa,” according to GMA News.
