Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) announced today that the automatic and free extension of visiting visas would stop, adding that fee levies would resume from January 22.

The grace period started on April 21, 2020, in implementation of the Executive Committee’s decision which took into account the situation of visitors following the suspension of flights as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.

The visitors can apply to extend their visas through www.bahrain.bh or visiting any services centres at the Muharraq Security Complex, Isa Town Office near Southern Governorate Police after booking appointments via Skiplino app.
