The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has extended its support to the Al Hekma Society for the Retired to assist in the development of its digital platform initiative.

The platform aims to enhance digital transformation initiatives by issuing a Membership Card as well as a Testahel Discount Card via the sophisticated platform.

Al Hekma Society for the Retired is currently undertaking a project to provide the organisation with sustainable, self-financing capabilities, set to be operational within two years of launching.

LT. General Dr Shaikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Al Hekma Society for Retired, said: “Through our collaboration with NBB, we hope to develop a digital platform that enhances our reach and facilitates our services to our members.”

Farouk Yousif Khalil AlMoayyed, Chairman of NBB, said: “We look forward to collaborating with a variety of local charities and organisations, especially those who have a positive influence on our society.”
