Mysterious serial killer identified by DNA

A father of three turned out to be the mysterious serial killer of women in Sri Lanka.

The 38-year-old suspect who was produced before the court in Pelmadulla Magistrate early this month, has been accused of murdering six women, including a double murder, reported ‘Hiru Gossip’.

The police were hitherto unable to nab him as he left no clues, though his modus operandi was the same in each case.

He was nabbed in the latest case by the CID when he slashed to death a 49-year-old woman while she was returning home from work at a tea estate.

He confessed that he killed her to take her jewellery and money.

The CID conducted a DNA test on him and that matched all the previous murder mysteries.
