The Government Hospitals of Bahrain have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Roche Limited, aiming to strengthen collaboration across several medical specialties through the exchange of scientific expertise and support for training and educational programs.

Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals, emphasized that the MoU focuses on vital medical fields, including ophthalmology, neurology, hematology, and gene therapy. The collaboration will facilitate knowledge sharing, organize workshops and training programs for doctors and healthcare professionals, and support initiatives related to awareness and early diagnosis.

“The partnership will help continue building national competencies and further enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens and residents,” Dr. Al Jalahma added.

Dr. Ahmed Tawfiq, General Manager of Roche Limited in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, highlighted that the MoU aims to promote the exchange of expertise and modern medical practices, ultimately improving the overall standard of healthcare.
