Mom’s sweetest gift to her meritorious daughter

A Bahraini woman has rewarded her ten-year-old daughter, who topped her class, with an extraordinary surprise. The woman rented an ice cream truck and made a surprise trip to the campus to offer a special sweet treat to her daughter and other kids. As the lunch recess bell rang, the fourth-grader was surprised to see the ice cream truck carrying her picture and congratulatory message from her mom, parked right in the middle of the schoolyard.

Nearly 400 ice cream cones were given away to students while special gifts were handed over to the fourth grader at a special ceremony held after obtaining the school administration’s permission. The mother, who wished not to be named, said she got immediate approval when she approached the Education Ministry with her wish to reward her daughter in a special way.
