Minister praises professional nursing staff

Manama : Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh received a delegation of Bahrain Nursing Society headed by Dr. Jameela Jassim Mukhaimer.

The minister cited the importance of continuous earnest work to activate the society’s role and its plans and strategies to elevate the status of nursing staff.

The minister pointed out the vital role and efficiency of Bahrain\'s professional nursing service in partnership between the ministry and the society to encourage further progress in the quality of nursing services. She praised the important role undertaken by the civil society organizations and the positive role of the Bahrain Nursing Society. Al Saleh highlighted the society members’ contribution in boosting the existing cooperation between both sides especially in 2020 following the World Health Organization (WHO)-designated slogan to celebrate the World Health Day under the theme of \"Nursing and Midwifery\".
