Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa participated yesterday in the anniversary of the Armistice Day, which was organised by the Embassy of the United Kingdom in the Kingdom of Bahrain in honour of British and other allied countries’ soldiers who lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars and other conflicts. The ceremony started with two minutes of silence, after which the Minister of Foreign Affairs placed wreaths on the memorial of the fallen soldiers of the First World War. British Ambassador Simon Martin expressed his appreciation to the Minister for his participation.
