Manama : The second Gulf Medical Expo will be held at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center from December 12-14.

To be held under the patronage of the Supreme Health Council Chairman Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa with the support of the Labour Fund Tamkeen and Health Ministry, the expo is organised by Ajyal Consultancy in cooperation with New Line Organising for Exhibitions and Conferences.

Ajyal CEO Captain Mahmood Al Mahmood said that the success of the first edition of the expo last year has enhanced the chances of its continuation, especially with the patronage of Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, contributing to its success.

Captain Mahmood underlined the continuous support of Tamkeen to Bahraini doctors, medical clinics, hospitals and pharmacies, by offering opportunities to promote medical services, equipment and medicines.

He also pointed out that the expo was able to provide the largest forum for medical practitioners to learn about the latest technologies and assistive tools to help creativity and production in the field of medicine, with the participation of more than 100 medical institutions in Bahrain and abroad in the previous edition of the expo, which is expected to attract more organisations and individuals this year considering the remarkable success if last year’s event.

Ajyal CEO added that the exhibition is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain, offering local and regional hospitals and clinics the opportunity to present their services and products.

Captain Mahmood also highlighted that the exhibition will provide the public with direct medical consultation from participating medical institutions and their doctors and is an opportunity to learn more about the latest discoveries and achievements in the field of medical devices and surgical techniques.
