Man seized with over 2,000 Tramadol pills

Ras Al Khaimah : Ras Al Khaimah police arrested a 25-year-old Emirati trying to sell more than 2,000 Tramadol pills in the local market, newspapers reported on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, police tailed a car that was near the Emirati’s house before stopping it and searching the driver and another man.

Police did not find any drugs but discovered that the two Arab men were intoxicated, the report said.

After storming their house, they found nine Tramadol pills which the two men said they had bought from the Emirati.

“Police raided the Emirati’s house and found more than 2,000 Tramadol pills. They arrested him and four other Arab men involved in dealing,” 'Emarat Al Youm' daily said.
