In a significant medical achievement, the urology surgery team at Bahrain’s public hospitals, led by Dr. Abdul Salam Ahmadi, Urology Surgery Consultant, has successfully performed a complex surgery to remove a large tumor from the left kidney of a 50-year-old patient.

The surgery posed exceptional medical challenges, as the tumor occupied a significant portion of the abdominal cavity, exerting severe pressure on the intestines and dangerously close to major blood vessels. This required meticulous planning and execution using advanced medical technologies.

Thanks to the outstanding efforts and coordination of the medical team, the surgery was successful, and the patient was discharged from the hospital in good health.
