LuLu takes trolleys online!

Manama: Lulu Hypermarket is now going out to the world! Starting this week, a click of your mouse will take you to www.luluwebstore.com for an online shopping spree and to hunt for the best deals in home appliances, mobile phones, electronics
and IT.
“We are excited to take the pleasure, quality promise and convenience of LuLu Hypermarket shopping to customers online,” said Regional Director Juzer Rupawala.
“We are starting with one of our most popular departments – technology. Whether home appliances, the latest smart phones, electronics or laptops and IT accessories, you can browse online, get exciting promotional offers and exclusive online deals and enjoy shopping from the comfort of your home,” he added.
Shoppers can choose their goods, order online, pay through the state-of-the-art secure LuLu e-payment gateways. The delivery system has been arranged for quick and maximum efficiency with express requests being handled by Aramex.
Just as for shoppers in the well-known LuLu outlets, customer service will be first priority and online purchases with any service issues or customers seeking to return or exchange online purchased goods can contact the special call centre that has been set up for the online
store
“We have ambitious plans for Phase 2 of our online shopping and in that phase, we shall offer grocery food and non-food goods and health and beauty items also in our online aisles,” Rupawala
said.
“Since these involve perishables, this online shopping model will be a ‘Click & Collect’ model where one can order all fruit and veg, perishable foods, as well as branded foods, detergents etc. and then we shall have it ready for them to come and just collect the goods from their designated store,” he added.
