The Kia EV3 has been crowned the 2025 World Car of the Year at the World Car Awards ceremony held during the 2025 New York International Auto Show. The announcement marks a major milestone for Kia, bringing the company’s total World Car Award wins to six since 2020.
Ho Sung Song, President and CEO of Kia, said: “It is an immense honor for everyone at Kia that the EV3 has been awarded the 2025 World Car of the Year title. Judged by a panel of 96 international automotive journalists from 30 countries, the EV3 stood out for its bold design, advanced technology, and segment-leading performance.
