KFH hails efforts by women staff

Managing Director and CEO of the Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat has honoured KFH’s women employees during a ceremony held recently in appreciation of the efforts they are making.

The ceremony was held as part of the Kingdom’s celebrations of the Bahraini Women’s Day 2015, themed “Women in the Financial and Banking Sector.”

Al Khayyat delivered a statement in which he congratulated the bank’s women staff, noting that the celebration of the Bahraini Women’s Day was in recognition of the distinguished status enjoyed by Bahraini women, being essential partners in the nation-building and progress in the Kingdom.

He underlined his keenness to provide all forms of support and create a positive atmosphere for the women employees to consolidate their role and participation, alongside men.

He stressed that the situation of women in the banking sector was advanced and could be developed further. He noted that 30 per cent of KFH staff were women and holding key posts. He affirmed that KFH ensured equal opportunities for all its staff and focused on promoting the performance culture.
