Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s exit from the House of Commons has caused a stir on social media after a photo surfaced showing him walking out with a chair in hand and his tongue out in a playful gesture. The image, captured by a Reuters photographer, quickly went viral, garnering mixed reactions from the public.
Trudeau had just met with Mark Carney, the new Liberal leader and prime minister-designate, to discuss a smooth transition of power following Carney’s victory in the Sunday party election. Carney had previously stated that the transition would be quick and seamless.
As Trudeau began to wrap up his tenure, he was photographed carrying his chair out of the House of Commons. While some netizens found the moment humorous and lighthearted, others criticized it, making jokes about him "stealing" from Canadians one last time. Some users expressed appreciation for Trudeau's sense of humor, with comments like, "Cutest picture," and "Finally, I have a normal life and enjoy nature."
