The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that a drone strike targeted several suspects near its troops in the northern Gaza Strip as they were allegedly planting an explosive device.

“The IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces,” the military stated.

Earlier, Palestinian media reported casualties in an Israeli drone strike in Beit Hanoun. Meanwhile, Israeli forces remain stationed in a buffer zone along the Gaza border amid the ceasefire, warning Palestinians to stay away from the area.
