At the outset of the meeting, HRH Princess Sabeeka welcomed the council members and expressed her gratitude for the unwavering royal support extended by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the primary advocate for the SCW’s mission. HRH Princess Sabeeka also commended the government’s dedicated efforts under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She acknowledged the government’s continuous support and close collaboration with the SCW, ensuring alignment with national priorities.

She emphasized the significance of this first meeting of 2024, reflecting on the council’s accomplishments, including the Bahraini Women’s Day celebrations, which showcased the remarkable journey and achievements of Bahraini women.
