His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday congratulated the people of Bahrain for turning out in large numbers for the Parliamentary and Municipal Elections 2022.
“We congratulate ourselves and our loyal people on this great achievement for dear Kingdom,” HM the King said.
The massive turnout, HM King said, represents a landmark which will remain in the history of Bahrain for future generations.
“This achievement shows the keenness of Bahrainis to perform their national responsibilities with their free and independent will and interest in building their and their country’s future through constitutional institutions.”
The efforts of Higher Elections Committees, subcommittees, election workers, all concerned authorities, and volunteers are praiseworthy, said HM King.
HM further said the people of Bahrain made the right choice in promoting the reform project, which has its basis in coexistence, pluralism and diversity.
“This approach will remain a way of life and work for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people”, said HM.
