His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday received at Al-Sakhir Palace British Secretary of State for Defence Gavin Williamson MP and the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East the Alistair Burt MP on the sidelines of the 2017 Manama Dialogue. HM the King welcomed the British officials, lauding deep-rooted historical relations and solid strategic partnership binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and other Royal family members were present during the meeting. HM the King also received Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Taro Kono, Members of the British Parliament and a number of senior participants of the 2017 Manama Dialogue yesterday. HM the King had also received Commander of the US Central Command General Joseph Votel on Friday.
