The Salmaniya Gurudeva Social Society (GSS) organized an extensive gathering at the Kumaranasan Hall to commemorate the 93rd Sivagiri Pilgrimage. The event served as a major cultural and spiritual milestone for the community in Bahrain.

The ceremony featured Pravasi Bhartiya Samman awardee K.G. Baburajan as the chief guest. During the proceedings, Mr. Baburajan was specially honored for receiving this year’s Dr. Palpu Memorial Award, a recognition of his dedicated efforts in promoting the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru on a global scale.

Distinguished guests included Rajesh Nambiar, President of KSCA, and Mithun Mohan, a member of the Indian School Board of Directors. As part of the tradition, Rajesh Nambiar officially welcomed GSS Chairman Saneesh Koorumullil and his delegation as they prepared to depart for the Sivagiri pilgrimage. The ceremonial "Dharma Pataka" (pilgrimage flag) for the procession was handed over by K.G. Baburajan.

The meeting was presided over by Saneesh Koorumullil, with Binuraj Rajan delivering the welcome address and Satheesh Kumar offering the vote of thanks. Felicitations were shared by Sindhu Roy. Organized under the leadership of the Society’s Board of Directors, the event saw large-scale participation from member families and devotees.
