Girl promised marriage, raped by boyfriend

A Filipina rushed to the apartment of her boyfriend in Kuwait after he told her his mother wanted to see her before their marriage. Instead of marrying her, he raped her.

The girl told police she had not suspected the intentions of her Lebanese boyfriend on the grounds they have known each other for a long time and he lives in a building confined to families in the capital Kuwait City.

“She said that when she entered the flat, she discovered that he lives on his own…she wanted to leave but he stopped her and raped her,” Alanba Arabic language daily said, adding that police arrested the man.
