GCC finance ministers meet

The Finance Ministers of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain met on the sidelines of the 2019 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund yesterday.

Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan, UAE Finance Minister Obaid Bin Humaid Al Tayer, Kuwait Finance Minister Dr Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa held discussions.

The Director-General and Chairman of Arab Monetary Fund, Dr Abdul Rahman Bin Abdullah Al Humaidi also attended the meeting. During the meeting, the Ministers discussed the latest developments of Bahrain’s Fiscal Balance Programme and ways to further develop joint cooperation and coordination in the financial, economic and investment fields.
