Any future negotiations with Iran should be with the participation of countries in the region, urged Bahrain envoy to the US. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa told this to Robert Malley, the US Special Envoy for Iran, during a phone call.

“Regional participation would “reduce regional tensions and consolidate security, stability and prosperity in the region”. The envoys also reviewed the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, regional and international developments, and other issues of common concern.
