The Ministry of Works has announced, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, that roadworks will begin this Friday, July 25, for the extension of electricity cables by the Electricity and Water Authority.
The work will take place in stages along Mushtan Street, Noon Street, Umm Al-Naasan Street, and Muharraq Street in the Riffa area. As part of the project, one lane on each affected street will be closed at different times to allow for safe and efficient execution.
The ministry stated that the work is expected to continue until Sunday, August 31.
Officials have urged all road users, including citizens and residents, to follow traffic rules and safety guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety during the roadworks.
