Driver beaten up after accident in Ajman

A driver from another Gulf country was severely beaten up by a group of local men after he accidentally banged into their car in Ajman.

The man was driving his car on a quiet road in the northern emirate when another vehicle overtook him, causing him to lose control of the car and hit that vehicle.

When he stopped, the driver and friends from that vehicle rushed and assaulted him, but he managed to flee after an old woman tried to stop them.

After getting home, he sent his son to record the number of that vehicle, but they recognised the car and chased the son to his home.
“Police came later and arrested those men after they also threatened to set the Gulf man’s home ablaze. He was taken to hospital for a surgery after suffering from a fractured jaw,” 'Al Bayan' daily said without identifying the men.
