Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met British Secretary of State for Defence Gavin Williamson MP and the UK’s Minister of State for the Middle East Alistair Burt MP on the sidelines of the 2017 Manama Dialogue. The Crown Prince and the UK delegation discussed the historic ties between Bahrain and the UK. The Crown Prince also met with Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Tarō Kōno, a delegation from Lockheed Martin, including President of the Middle East-Africa Region Vice Admiral Anthony L. Winns, and Vice President for International Government Affairs Nancy Ziuzin as well as the Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Teresa Carlson and CEO of IronNet Cybersecurity General Keith Alexander.
