Spectators at an airshow in Spain this weekend witnessed a heart-stopping moment when a Spanish Air Force F-18 jet nearly crashed during a flight display.

As the aircraft soared across the sky, it suddenly dipped dangerously low—sparking gasps from the crowd. For a few tense seconds, it looked like disaster was imminent. But in a remarkable display of skill and quick thinking, the pilot managed to regain control and steer the jet back into a safe flight path, narrowly avoiding a crash.

The dramatic maneuver has since gone viral on social media, with viewers praising the pilot’s nerves of steel and fast response under pressure. Authorities confirmed that no one was injured, and the rest of the airshow continued as planned.
