Cleaning operations centre activated for Ashura season
The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture launched the Main Operations Centre for Cleaning Services in the capital and conducted field inspections of cleanliness preparations across Manama ahead of the Ashura season 1448 AH.

Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak reviewed readiness plans during visits to several key locations, main streets used for religious processions, and several ma’atams, as part of efforts to ensure enhanced municipal services during the season.

The field tour included senior officials, such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Saleh Taher Tarada, Alia Yousif Yahya, and Brigadier Dr. Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed, along with representatives of ma’atams and relevant officials.

The minister emphasized that the visit reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening municipal services during Ashura, through intensified cleaning operations, increased resources, and ensuring rapid response teams are in place to maintain public cleanliness and service efficiency.
