NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has again extended the application deadline for obtaining scanned copies of Class 12 answer sheets until May 25.

This urgent relief measure directly addresses widespread failures in online portals that locked out students attempting to file verification requests before the original cutoff.

The extension became necessary after the official board website encountered severe technical complications and prolonged server slowdowns. Countless students and parents reported being unable to log in, process required fees, or submit their digital requests, sparking widespread anxiety across the country as the initial deadline approached.

By pushing the timeline further, CBSE aims to ensure that all aggrieved candidates get a fair opportunity to evaluate their evaluations. This administrative extension keeps the multi-step marks verification and re-evaluation pipeline open, safeguarding students' academic prospects during this critical college admissions window.
