The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced this week’s BD70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been fully subscribed by 136%.
The bills, carrying a maturity of 91 days, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The issue date of the bills is 6th January 2016 and the maturity date is 6th April 2016. The weighted average rate of interest is 1.86%, compared to 1.83% for the previous issue on 30th December 2015. The approximate average price for the issue was 99.531% with the lowest accepted price being 99.497%.

This is issue No.: 1581 (ISIN BH0006M77406) of Government Treasury Bills. With this, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills is BD 1.710 billion.
