The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that its latest monthly issuance of Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed by 125%.

The BD 43 million issue attracted total subscriptions amounting to BD 53.923 million, underscoring strong investor confidence in the Kingdom's short-term Islamic investment instruments.

This 91-day maturity issue—designated as Issue No. 288 (BH000134M945)—will begin on April 9 and mature on July 9. The expected return stands at 5.27%, marking a slight increase from the 5.20% offered in the previous issue on March 12.

The Sukuk Al-Salam securities are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of its efforts to provide Sharia-compliant investment opportunities and support fiscal liquidity management.
