Boosting Bahraini-Omani cultural activities highlighted

Manama : Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa today received Ambassador Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Madelwi of Oman to Bahrain to further strengthen the solid bilateral relations.

The Ambassador handed over BACA President a letter from Minister of Heritage and Culture HH Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said on reinforcing cultural activities between the two countries.

BACA President welcomed Oman's interest in boosting joint cultural activities, noting Oman's presence on the UNESCO's World Heritage List and its unmissable cultural movement taking place there.

Oman's Ambassador lauded BACA role in the preservation of heritage and historical monuments, as well as holding cultural events and artistic performances.
