Bahrain’s creative talent takes centre stage with the launch of the second season of the ‘Bahraini Camera’ initiative, showcasing short documentaries that highlight influential figures and offer a platform for young filmmakers. Part of The National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship (Bahrainouna), the initiative is in collaboration with the Ministry of Information.

Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, attended the event, reaffirming the Ministry’s full support for the project. The initiative aims to spotlight exceptional Bahrainis and offer budding filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their work. A selection committee will recognize the most impressive films for further accolades.

This season emphasizes short documentaries, focusing on the lives and contributions of Bahrainis whose work has made a lasting impact. Major General Mohammed bin Dainah, General Supervisor of Bahrainouna, described the initiative as a tribute to Bahrain’s artistic heritage, in line with the royal vision that inspired the National Plan.
