According to court files, the majority of the defendant’s victims were women, who were interested to invest their money. The defendant claimed that he was a high-ranking consultant at a ministry, and he offered his victims the opportunity to invest their money and take advantage of his influence and authority.

Moreover, he also scammed other victims that he could employ them at ministries, and they paid him for this too. However, they discovered that this was a trick too. The defendant reportedly searched for women who were having family troubles to embezzle the money from them.

He also claimed that was working as a broker in selling vehicles. The Bahraini man was also fined BD20,000.
