Bahrain’s General Index closing rates

Bahrain’s General Index closed today, down by 55.16 points, at 1,562.64 from the previous closing rate, due to the decrease in the index of the commercial banking sector, the investment sector, the services sector and the industrial sector. While the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 713.34, a decrease of 18.51 points from the previous closing rate.

The amount of shares traded for the day amounted to 36 million, 978 thousand and 971 shares, with a total value of 5 million, 483 thousand and 818 Bahraini dinars, executed through 139 transactions. The activity of investors in trading focused on the shares of the investment sector, as the value of its traded shares reached 85.08% of the total value of the traded securities.
