The Bahrain Interior Ministry (MOI)’s Police Band has joined 26 other bands around the world in a virtual musical event to show their support for the workers at the frontlines of the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

In a global initiative that reflects appreciation and pride for the noble role of the frontliners, the bands joined hands through their performances to show that the world is still united in the face of the pandemic.

Major General Dr Mubarak Najm Al Najm, commander of the police band, said that the Bahrain band’s participation in the international event comes under the directives of the Interior Minister of Bahrain.

They performed to show their appreciation of the frontliners’ role as first line of defense against the deadly respiratory illness.
