Bahrain Launches Google Maps Integration for Property Location Services

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the real estate sector and accelerate digital transformation in government services, the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB) has announced the integration of property location services with Google Maps. This initiative aims to improve property management efficiency, provide user-friendly tools for customers, and enhance transparency and competitiveness in the real estate market.

According to the SLRB, the new feature allows property owners and clients to access a property's exact location on Google Maps by scanning a QR code found on the ownership document. The system utilizes precise geographic coordinates to ensure accuracy in location tracking.

The bureau emphasized that this feature facilitates access to reliable property information with full transparency, saving time and effort for clients who no longer need to visit properties in person. Additionally, it supports decision-making by offering direct and visual insights through digital maps, further strengthening confidence and credibility in Bahrain’s real estate sector.
