Bahrain Condemns Terror Attack on Church in Damascus, Offers Condolences to Syria

Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that struck Mar Elias Church in the Al-Duwaila area of central Damascus, Syria. The tragic incident resulted in the death and injury of several people.

In a heartfelt statement, the ministry expressed Bahrain's deep sorrow and solidarity with the Syrian government and people, extending sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift recovery for those who were injured.

The ministry reaffirmed Bahrain’s full support for Syria’s security and stability, and reiterated its firm rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism—especially those that target places of worship and endanger innocent lives. It described such acts as completely incompatible with religious, moral, and humanitarian values.
