Bahrain Ambassador to France and Permanent Representative to the UNESCO Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Abdulla met UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova and commended her support to the UNESCO-King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the ‘Use of ICTs in Education’, hailing deep-rooted relations binding Bahrain and the Paris-based UN agency. Separately, the ambassador received, Middle East Technical Consultant at the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities Mahdi Al-Mousawi, who presented the ambassador with a copy of a book he had translated on Marine Buoyage System and other Marine Aids in Bahrain.
