Al Salam Bank launches new credit card payment service

Manama : Al Salam Bank-Bahrain has launched its latest credit card payment gateway service channel in partnership with Benefit, Bahrain’s national electronic network for financial transactions.

Customers, according to the bank, will now be able to pay their credit card bills online using any Benefit enabled debit card with a payment option between the outstanding balance or minimum payment or any other amount.

Commenting on the move, Acting Head of Retail Banking Mohammed Buhijji said, “The Credit Card Payment gateway offers customers a safe and secure environment by using any local Debit card when paying their credit card bills without the need to visit a branch and wait in long queue.”

Mohammed Buhijji further added: We will continue to bring innovative Shari’a-compliant banking products and services with more value-added benefits and features.”

The payment gateway is available on http://www.alsalambahrain.com/ and it can be accessed by entering credit card number and CPR number when processing payment.
