Al Fateh Walkway provides ample physical fitness opportunities

A walk on the new Al Fateh Walkway was among the activities undertaken by the Municipality of Works Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning to mark Bahrain Sports Day.

Led by the minister, Esam bin Abdullah Khalaf, personnel from the ministry took a walk on the renovated facility used by an increasingly high number of people living in the area and beyond.

"The ministry is proceeding with the implementation of several service projects for citizens and residents aimed at encouraging the practice of sports and creating a social and recreational outlet for all to achieve sustainable development for the Kingdom of Bahrain," Khalaf said.

The ministry has been working on several walkways in various regions of the Kingdom and developing them in a way that meets the requirements of the people and contributes to creating a healthy and sporting atmosphere, he added.
