UAE condemns attack on Indian-flagged vessel near Oman

The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting an Indian-flagged vessel off the coast of Oman, describing the incident as a threat to maritime security and regional stability.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack represents a serious escalation aimed at undermining the stability of key international shipping routes and threatening the safety of global maritime navigation.

The ministry warned that such incidents pose risks to vital maritime corridors and could impact regional and international security.

The UAE also expressed solidarity with India and reaffirmed its support for efforts aimed at protecting Indian vessels and ensuring the safety of maritime operations in the region.

The statement underscored the importance of maintaining security and stability across international shipping lanes amid ongoing regional tensions.
