Tourism Minister Holds Strategic Meeting with Edamah CEO to Boost Bahrain’s Tourism Vision

Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, held a meeting with Mr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Majed, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company “Edamah,” the real estate arm of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, the Kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund.

During the meeting, Minister Al Sairafi emphasized the crucial role of the private sector in achieving the goals of Bahrain’s Tourism Strategy (2022–2026). She praised Edamah’s contributions to the development and efficient management of tourism projects, particularly those aligned with the strategy’s focus on waterfront tourism and marine activities. These initiatives are considered key pillars in diversifying Bahrain’s tourism offerings and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a leading tourism destination.

For his part, Mr. Al-Majed affirmed Edamah’s commitment to intensifying efforts toward executing tourism infrastructure projects. He highlighted the company’s dedication to supporting the national economy and meeting the evolving expectations of visitors through innovative development initiatives.
