The Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee, Chaired by Dr. Aisha Salim Mubarak, paid a visit on November 9, to Muharraq Social Welfare Centre to get updated on the elderly’s enjoyment of their rights which are guaranteed by the constitution and international laws. The visit is in line with the role of NIHR to review legal guarantees to boost the rights of the elderly.
