Al-Sharq, a Qatari Daily Newspaper expressed condemnation of the plot, which targeted undermining Bahrain's security and stability, praising the capabilities of the Bahraini security forces in confronting terrorism.
Al-Sharq, in its yesterday’s editorial, hailed the Gulf countries' consolidation with Bahrain, stressing GCC countries' security and stability are essential for the world's peace and stability.
It called for concerted efforts to eliminate terrorism in all its manifestations, pointing out the plot indicates more attempts to come, which consequently threaten the GCC countries' security and stability.
It underlined Bahrain's unity, which is capable of standing against such plots, as well as GCC leadership, which has employed its power to maintain the Gulf unity and stability by the use of a strong national determination.
It concluded by saying that GCC countries have always been fortified against external threats and will be vigilant in watching for sabotage plots regardless of their supporters.
