The total number of individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 in Bahrain and have been discharged from isolation reached 316 last night, according to the Ministry of Health website. There are 247 active cases, of which two are critical.

The total number of tested has reached 34,159. Meanwhile, 47 of the new cases announced early yesterday by the Health Ministry were from expatriate workers who had already been quarantined as a precaution, after coming into contact with one of the individuals who had tested positive for COVID-19.

The Health Ministry confirmed that it immediately took all precautionary and preventive measures for the group of workers, who were designated to quarantine centres and placed under observation to ensure their safety.
