LONDON: British singer Lauren Bennett, who rose to global fame for her vocals on LMFAO's 2011 chart-topping electronic dance hit ‘Party Rock Anthem,’ has died at the age of 37.

Her former G.R.L. bandmates announced her passing through a joint Instagram statement. While expressing profound heartbreak and honoring her ‘beautiful spirit,’ the group did not disclose an official cause of death.

Bennett's musical career began with the Paradiso Girls before achieving massive commercial success. Her defining feature on ‘Party Rock Anthem’ spent six weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, eventually ranking among the most successful songs of all time.

In 2013, she joined the girl group G.R.L., earning international recognition with hits like "Ugly Heart". Bennett is survived by her daughter, Harlow, and her partner, dancer and actor Kenny Wormald.
